KATHMANDU: A new westerly low-pressure system, which is preparing to enter Nepal from today, is having impact on the weather system of Nepal.
This system will have impact on the weather system of Nepal until Monday. According to Ganda Nagarkoti, a meteorologist, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the Kathmandu Valley towards the afternoon and light rain is expected in the evening today.
“The same weather pattern will continue tomorrow and remain until Monday,” said Nagarkoti.
The new westerly low-pressure system which is entering the country from the western part of Nepal will cause generally to partly cloudy weather in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki and Lumbini Pradesh.
Currently, the weather is partly to generally cloudy across the country and light rain and snowfall is occurring in a few places of Bagmati and Pradesh 1.
