KATHMANDU: The five-party ruling alliance is holding a meeting to discuss government formation and power-sharing.

Preparations have been made to hold the meeting after the election of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader.

Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said the meeting will be held on Wednesday afternoon.

Prachanda said this in a conversation with Unified Socialist Secretary Ram Kumari Jhankri and independent MP Amaresh Kumar Singh.

“We are preparing to hold a meeting of the alliance after the results of the NC parliamentary party,” sources quoted Prachanda as saying.
