Vote count starts in Tanahu-2



DAMAULI: Vote count has begun in Tanahu constituency 2.

Similarly, preparations were underway to count vote in the constituency 1, according to the district returning officer Hari Prasad Dhakal.

Of the total 248,495 registered voters in Tanahu district (123,490 in the constituency 1, and 125,005 in the constituency 2), the total voter turnout was 55 percent.

Similarly, constituency 1 saw 54.36 percent and constituency 2 recorded 54.62 percent voter turnout.

The total 57 candidates under both the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly ran from the district having the total 10 local levels (six rural municipalities and four municipalities).
