Jumla prepares to count vote



JUMLA: Vote count in Jumla district is being conducted from three places. All ballot boxes have been collected from across the district.

An all-party meeting has been called to discuss the vote count procedure.

“We are initiating the vote count immediately after the agreement in the all-party meeting,” said Chief Returning Officer, Bishnu Prasad Gautam.

The vote count booths will have candidates and a representative of each political party.

Goma Gautam Kunwar of CPN (Maoist Centre), Ratan Nath Yogi of CPN UML and Gyanendra Shahi of Rastriya Prajatantra Party are major contenders for a member of the House of Representatives in the district.
