Re-polling in Gulmi’s Arbeni on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Voting will be held again on Tuesday at the polling station where election to the House of Representatives and State Assembly was halted in Gulmi district.

Chief election officer Basantraj Poudel said that there will be re-polling on Tuesday in Consitutency 1 centers (a) and (b) based at Bhagwati Secondary School located in Arbeni, Kaligandaki rural municipality-2, of the district.

On Sunday, the election process was postponed after the first-past-the-post (FPTP) ballots of the Provincial Assembly were confused with the FPTP ballots of the House of Representatives.

As many as 664 out of 1,369 voters had voted in the polling station on Sunday.
