Partial solar eclipse to occur on October 25



KATHMANDU: A partial solar eclipse is taking place in Nepal on October 25, the Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee said.

The committee’s executive director Surya Prasad Dhungel shared that the eclipse would commence at 4:52 pm and the sun will set at 5:24 pm, 32 minutes after the eclipse commences.

Thus, the eclipse will be visible from Nepal for around 32 minutes.

Although it cannot be seen from Nepal, the eclipse will withdraw at 7:30 pm.
