Fifteen selected for wrestling from Madhes province



JANAKPURDHAM: Fifteen players, including five women were selected for wrestling from Madhes province for the 9th National Games.

They were selected from the province-level competition held at covered hall in Janakpur.

Among the selected from Bara were Amarendra Yadav on 57-kg weight category, Amresh Kumar Yadav on 61-kg weight, Arjun Kumar Saha on 65-kg, Muktar Alam on 74-kg, Bunilal Raut on 79-kg and Raj Yadav on 105-kg category.

Likewise those selected from Parsa were Manoj Yadav on 70-kg, Lal Bahadur Yadav on 86-kg, Abadhesh Yadav on 92-kg and Rajesh Yadav on 97-kg.

Similarly, women wrestlers selected for the national games were Geeta Yadav from Bara on 50-kg, Madhu Kumari from Parsa on 53-kg, Pramila from Bara on 55-kg, Kiran Yadav from Bara on 57-kg and Nilam Kumari from Parsa on 62-kg category.
