KMC not to collect garbage for a week

KATHMANDU: Garbage in Kathmandu will not be collected for a week due to the ongoing construction of the road leading to Bancharedanda in Nuwakot district.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has urged people to keep the gradable and non-gradable garbage separately in their houses for a week.

Issuing a notice, the KMC has said that as the construction of the road leading to Bancharedanda has resumed, vehicles carrying garbage cannot ply the road for a week.

It has also urged Kathmanduites to not throw garbage in the streets, chowks and public places.
