Nepal gives Hong Kong a target of 110 runs

KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a target of 110 runs for Hong Kong in the ACC Women’s T20 Championship. Nepal, who won the toss and elected to bat, scored 109 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Captain Rubina Chhetri has scored the highest 32 for Nepal. Sita Rana Magar, who came in the opening match for Nepal, was run out for 9 runs. Indu Burma, who came in third, could not open an account.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Kajal Shrestha, who came in fourth, was lbw out for just one run.

Opener Bindu Rawal was lbw out for 23 off 28 balls. Mamata Chaudhary, who came in the sixth position, was run out for 7 runs. Likewise, Kavita Joshi was bowled out for 4 by Elisha Herbard.

Hong Kong is in second place with 4 points in 2 games. Hong Kong defeated Bhutan by 14 runs and Bahrain by 8 wickets.
