Two killed in truck-motorcycle collision



KATHMANDU: Two persons have died in a lorry truck-motorcycle collision in Siyari rural municipality-2 in the Rupandehi district.

According to District Police Office, Rupandehi, 25-year-old Ram Niwas Beldar and the pillion rider 50-year-old Ramayan Pasi died after the motorcycle, Lu 74 Pa 4479, they were riding collided with the truck at Kutta in Siyari rural municipality on Tuesday night.

Critically injured Beldar and Pasi, who were rushed to Bhairahawa-based Bhim Hospital, died in the course of treatment.

The lorry truck had an Indian number plate. The driver of the truck is at large.

Police said they have launched a manhunt for the absconding driver.
