Leader Rajeshman Singh joins JSP

Excited Dr. Bhattarai predicts his party’s ‘clean sweep in Madhesh’

BIRGUNJ: Rajeshman Singh, a popular leader in Madhes Province, has joined the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) on Monday.

JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav and the Federal Council Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai welcomed leader Singh in the party today.

Singh’s decision to join JSP has boosted the morale of the party from which Birgunj Metropolitan City Mayor Vijay Kumar Sarawagi’s defected to the UML.

After welcoming Singh in JSP, Dr. Bhattarai remarked that JSP is likely to make a clean sweep in the upcoming local election in Madhes Province.

“There is a wave of JSP entry in Birgunj. Thousands of cadres, including the established leader Rajesh Man Singh, joined the JSP,” he wrote on Twitter on Monday, adding, “This has made it rational to make the assessment and expectation that  JSP will make a clean sweep in the next local election.”
