CIAA confiscates documents from Bheemdatta Municipality for investigation



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) office in Kanchanpur has seized documents from the Bheemdatta Municipality Office for investigation.

CIAA Kanchanpur office Information Officer Chandrakant Basnet confirmed the confiscation of the official documents from the local government.

The move followed a complaint in writing about irregularities in regard with the local government’s bridge construction project.

The confiscated papers include the detailed project report of the under-construction bridge project, selection of engineering consultant and payment for the service.
