RPP to hold mass meeting in Kathmandu on April 8

In a show of power



KATHMANDU: With the local level elections just around the corner, political parties have intensified political campaigns.

Political parties have accelerated political programs including mass meetings across the country for the elections to be held on May 13.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is also holding a mass meeting in a show of power at Khula Manch on April 8, informed Mohan Shrestha, spokesperson of the publicity department of the party.

According to Shrestha, a 555-member organizing committee led by Bagmati Province Chairman Bikram Bahadur Thapa has been  formed to make the program a success.

Chairpersons of RPP Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur district committees are deputy coordinators while central member Asha Lama is the member secretary of the organizing committee.

RPP Chairman Lingden has been holding nationwide election campaigns for the last one month, targeting the local level elections.
