ICC Cricket World Cup League 2: Nepal locking horns with UAE today

KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on UAE in an ODI tri-series under the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 today.

The match between Nepal and India will be held at Dubai Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at 11:15 am.

In the first match Nepal had defeated Papua New Guinea by two wickets. In the second match, Nepal had faced a defeat at the hands of UAE by 48 runs.

Similarly, UAE in the first match had defeated PNG by seven wickets and in the third match it faced a six-wicket defeat at the hands of PNG.

Nepal and UAE have met five times so far. Of the five matches, Nepal and UAE have won and two and three matches, respectively.

A total of seven teams are participating in League 2.

Nepal has notched up 10 points from five wins out of 10 games. Nepal is in the sixth position. UAE is in the second position with 20 points from nine wins out of 17 matches.
