SAFF U-18 Women’s C’ship: Nepal taking on India today

KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on host India in a football match under the SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship underway in India.

The match will be held at Jamshedpur in India at 7:15 pm.

In the championship played in a round robin format, India defeated Nepal by 7-0 in the first match.

In the three-nation championship, Nepal has not notched up even a single point so far.  Nepal is at the bottom without any points from two matches.

In the second match, Nepal faced a defeat at the hands of Bangladesh 4-2.

India is atop the points table with six points from two matches followed by Bangladesh with three points.

Three countries – Nepal, India and Bangladesh – are taking part in the championship. The top team will win the trophy.
