Sarokar Samaj to hold 8th AGM on March 26



KATHMANDU: Tehrathum Sarokar Samaj, a non-political, non-profit and social organization, is holding its 8th annual general meeting (AGM) on March 26 (Saturday).

An executive meeting of the Samaj held on February 14 had taken a decision to hold its 8th AGM at Bag Bazaar-based Hotel Hardik on March 26.

Former ministers, state ministers, intellectuals, writers, dignitaries, advisors of the Samaj among others from Tehrathum district will participate in the conclave which will be graced by Pradesh 1 Governor Parshu Ram Khapung as the chief guest, informed Dilli Ram Dhungel, the senior vice chairman of the Samaj.

In the AGM, which is being held almost after six months than the scheduled date due to COVID-19, an annual financial report and annual report of activities carried out by the Samaj will be presented and endorsed.

Similarly, the AGM will also elect a new executive committee of the Samaj.
