NEPSE rises by 25.41 points to close at 2,718.51



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has risen by 25.41 points to close at 2,718.51 points on Monday.

The stock market, which had declined by 39.4 points on the first trading day of the week, has witnessed a rise on Monday.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also rose by 5.15 points.

The total turnover today was Rs 2.99 billion against Sunday’s Rs 4 billion.

A total of 49,92,879 shares of 224 companies were traded through 40,869 transactions during the day, resulting in a turnover of Rs 2.99 billion.
