UML Gen Secy Pokhrel alleges Maoist Center, Unified Socialist for playing dirty game on MCC

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has alleged the ruling coalition parties for playing a dirty game on Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Pokhrel lambasted the Maoist Center and the Unified Socialist for playing a double-standard game on the issue of MCC.

“On one side, they allowed to table the MCC Compact in the Parliament, and on the other, they instructed their party cadres to stage protests against it,” Pokhrel said.

“It is nothing but a dirty game played by the parties,” he has said.

It should be noted that the Maoist Center and the Unified Socialist have been protesting in the streets against MCC.
