Health Ministry makes vaccination card mandatory at public places from today

KATHMANDU: The government’s decision to make vaccination cards mandatory at public places has come into effect from today.

With the decisions, the full vaccination cards are mandatory while entering government offices, hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, stadiums, airports, etc.

The number of people receiving vaccines has increased with the implementation of this decision.

However, the government has not been able to control the crowd in the vaccination centres.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 53 percent of eligible Nepali people have received one dose COVID-19 vaccine and 41.4 percent have received full doses of vaccines.
