107-year-old votes in Myagdi



MYAGDI: A centenarian cast his vote in the elections to the Member of the House of Representatives and Province Assembly in Myagdi on Sunday.

Jasamani Kami, 107, of Rum of Malika rural municipality-2 exercised his franchise from the local Rastriya Secondary School-based polling center (A), according to voting officer Ishwor Bahadur Bhandari.

Voting is underway at all 120 polling centers in Myagdi, the district in the Gandaki Province.

The number of voters in the district is 86 thousand and it is sending one representative to the federal parliament followed by two in the PA.
