20 die as over 1,600 infected from Dengue in past five weeks



KATHMANDU: As many as 20 people died due to Dengue infection and more than 1,600 people have been infected with the disease in the past five weeks in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Dengue has now spread in all the 77 districts and as many as 16,587 cases have been recorded so far.

Bagmati Province has recorded the highest of 12,401 cases of Dengue followed by Lumbini with 2,422 cases and Province 1 with 504 cases.
