Two Indian nationals go missing in landslide in Kapilvastu



KATHMANDU: Two Indian nationals have gone missing after being swept away by a landslide at Dhankhola of Shivaraj Municipality-1 in Kapilvastu district.

The deceased identified as Nikhil Kaushal, 17, and Suraj Soni, 18, of Siddharthnagar, India, were crossing a local stream when the landslip washed them away, said the police.

They were returning on a Force vehicle (Lu 2 Kha 2716) after visiting Swargadwari in Pyuthan district when the incident occurred, said Inspector Kapil Jung Shahi, adding that a search has been launched for the missing ones.
