Petrol to cost Rs 199, diesel Rs 192 from today



KATHMANDU: The government has increased the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene.

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petrol by Rs 21 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 27 per liter with effect from last night.

According to a press release issued by the NOC, with the new price, petrol will now cost Rs 199, and diesel and kerosene Rs 192 per liter in Kathmandu Valley.

The price of LP gas has remained unchanged.

The government has also increased the price of aviation fuel (domestic and international).

The price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 19 per liter (domestic) and Rs 100 per kg for international, according to NOC.

The Corporation has said that the price has been increased in a bid to adjust the price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
