Ruling coalition finalizes seat sharing in 6 metros and 11 sub-metros
A meeting of the ruling coalition has decided the sharing of seats in six metropolises and 11 sub-metropolises for the upcoming local election to be held on May 13.
According to CPN-Maoist Center leader Dev Gurung, the meeting of the ruling alliance held at Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s official residence in Baluwatar Wednesday afternoon reached an agreement to select common candidates for the metropolitan cities and sub-metropolitan cities.

The party, in its manifesto, has assured making timely reforms by continuing the traditional values.
Govt launching Covid-19 booster campaign from April 24
The government plans to launch a three-day nationwide booster dose campaign against Covid-19 from April 24.
The campaign has been aimed at lessening the cases of deaths from the virus.
However, the country has not recorded any death from coronavirus since March 22.
NEPSE falls by 36.73 points Wednesday
On the fourth trading day of the week, the stock market took to its decline trend and fell by 36.73 points.
The market, which had improved on Tuesday, declined by double digits and went down to 2320.51 points on Wednesday. This is a decrease of 1.56 percent.
A total of 228 companies traded 32,506 times on Wednesday.
NEPSE witnessed the trade of 3570014 shares today. The transaction amount on Wednesday was Rs 1.45 billion.
Twist in actor Paul Shah related rape case
Actor Paul Shah related rape case has taken a twist since the minor ‘victim’ changed her statement against the actor on Sunday.
The minor girl who had accused actor Shah of sexual misconduct and rape and filed a case in Tanahu and Nawalpur went hostile before the Tanahu District Court on Sunday.
