Irish citizen found dead in Hotel Manang, Thamel



KATHMANDU: An Irish national has been found dead at Hotel Manang in Thamel.

According to Basanta Kunwar, head of the Valley Crime Division, Allen Philip, an Irish citizen, has been found dead.

The police recovered the blood-stained body of the Irish national from nearby the hotel’s swimming pool.

The hotel management had informed the police after Philip, who was staying on the sixth floor of the hotel, was found dead on Wednesday morning.

SSP Kunwar said that the incident was being investigated from different angles.
