Maoists to contest elections on its own: Maoist leader ​​Poudel



KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has said that the Unified CPN-Maoist was ready to contest the election on its own.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu, Poudel, a Maoist leader, said that the Maoists were ready to contest the election alone.

“We are more flexible than others,” said Minister Poudel adding that his party won the election in the past as well.

Minister Poudel said that the achievements of secularism, federalism and inclusive proportional representation were achieved due to the Maoists and accused the reactionaries of trying to destroy it.
