Bad weather affects flights at various airports across Nepal



KATHMANDU: Flights have been affected at various airports across the country due to bad weather today.

According to Bhola Guragain, the General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the flight services have been disrupted at Biratnagar Airport, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, Chandragadhi due to poor visibility.

A flight of Yeti Airlines bound for Simara has been cancelled, informed Spokesperson of the company Sudarshan Bartaula.

Similarly, the Nepalgunj and Bhairahawa Airport have also been partially affected by bad weather.

The number of passengers under domestic flights has gone down resulting in the fewer number of domestic flights today.
