JHAPA: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused Nepali Congress (NC) of getting the election manifesto written through the hired intellects who have no grass root level experience of life.
Speaking at an event organized in his home district Jhapa during the election campaign, the former Prime Minister Oli also termed the coalition parties as puppets.
“The current government is like a shadow lasting just for a while and will be out from site once the November 20 election is over,” he said, adding, “Its life is shorter than the temporary police recruited for election purpose.”
Oli, who unsuccessfully led the nearly two-third majority government of the communist party, praised the right wing party Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) in the program.
To counter the NC-led coalition of CPN-Maoist Center, CPN-Unified Socialist Party, and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), UML has formed an alliance with RPP, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) among others.
