KATHMANDU: On the fourth day of the week, there was a double-digit decline in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday.
The NEPSE index fell by 12.81 points to reach at 1845.51 points. The market, which fell by a normal number on Monday, was closed on Tuesday and fell again on Wednesday.
21 lakh 51 thousand shares were bought and sold for 643 million rupees today.
There was a decline in all the companies except hotel and tourism and mutual fund. The share price of 23 companies increased and 158 companies decreased, while the share price of two companies remained stable.
Similarly, the shares of three companies Abhiyan Lagubitta with (10 percent), Saipatri Hydropower (9.99 percent), Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (9.94 percent) witnessed a positive circuit today.
