Shoot-out at Gothatar in Kathmandu, one injured



KATHMANDU: A shootout took place in Gothatar, Kageshwari Manohara municipality-8 of Kathmandu this evening.

In the incident, 55-year-old Lal Mohammad of Hariwan Municipality-2 in Sarlahi was injured in the firing, Spokesman of District Police Range Kathmandu, SP Dineshraj Mainali said.

Lal has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Maharajganj for treatment.

Meanwhile, a team including Chief of District Police Range Kathmandu, SSP Bharat Bahadur Bohara and Chief of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Janak Bhattarai has been deployed at the incident site.
