KATHMANDU: The CPN Maoist Center is to have 21 office bearers in the party.
In the Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the party held on Friday, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ proposed thus said number of office bearers.
According to a SC member, there will be a chairman, a senior vice-chairman and a vice-chairman in the party.
Similarly, the party will have a general secretary, seven deputy general secretaries, nine secretaries and a treasurer.
The party has already nominated Narayan Kaji Shrestha as senior vice chair and Krishna Bahadur Mahara as vice chair.
Another SC member said though it is certain that the party will have only one vice chair, the number of deputy general secretaries and secretaries might be changed.
However, the party is not not exceed the number of office bearers beyond 21.
