Nepal sees 357 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 357 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 268 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 89 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,328 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,828 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,500 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 1,982 active cases in the country as 62 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No COVID-19 related death was recorded in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country remains constant at 11,954 to date.
