KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council (JC) has recommended the dismissal of two more judges.

The meeting  of the Judicial Council Secretariat held in Kathmandu on Monday decided to recommend the dismissal of Judge Rakesh Kumar Nidhi, working in the Mahendranagar Bench of Dipayal High Court, and Judge Anil Kumar Sharma working in Kathmandu District Court.

According to Man Bahadur Karki, the spokesperson of the Judicial Council, the Secretariat decided to write to the Supreme Court for the removal of both judges for their bad conduct and lack of efficiency.

Karki informed that the Secretariat reached such a conclusion while investigating the complaints filed against Nidhi over his verdict as a Judge of  Rajbiraj Bench of Janakpur High Court and Sharma for his verdict in a case while in office in Siraha District Court.
