UML leader Pandey stresses unity among communist forces

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice President Surendra Pandey has said that unity among communist forces is imperative to establish socialism in the country.

Speaking at a training pin Janakpurdham, Pandey said it was not possible to achieve socialism if the communist parties were not united.

“Merely talking about socialism in the country without Left unity would be futile. Therefore, unity among all communist forces is important,” Pandey said.

Stating that UML could not get the expected outcome in the recently-concluded local-level election, Pandey also urged all leaders and cadres of the party to work towards achieving success in the upcoming parliamentary election.
