Traffic obstructed in Dumre-Besisahar road

TANAHU: The Dumre-Besisahar road section has been blocked after hume pipe culvert placed near Kudulephant in Bhanu Municipality-8 was washed away.

The floodwaters in Kharekhola swept away three hume pipes, disrupting traffic. Hume pipes were damaged by floods on Sunday morning after incessant rains.

Though small vehicles came into operation using alternative routes, large vehicles have been stopped, said Ramesh Bista, Inspector at the Area Police Office, Bhanu.
