NEPSE sheds 1.03 percent on Thursday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has declined by 1.03 percent today, Thursday.

The share market index that modestly rose on Wednesday plunged by 23.51 points and closed at 2,250.91 points at the end of the trading day today.

A total of 3,798,263 shares of 219 companies were traded via 23,569 transactions resulting in a turnover of Rs 1.30 billion in the secondary market today.

Of the 219 companies traded, share prices of 169 companies plummeted while the share prices of only 19 companies increased. The share prices of two companies remained unchanged.

All sub-indices but Mutual Fund closed red.
