Balen still maintains lead in Kathmandu Metropolis

Balen: 21,111, Sthapit: 10,998, Sirjana: 10,173



KATHMANDU: Independent candidate Balen Shah has continued to lead with over 21,000 votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

So far, Balen has received 21,111 out of 54,621 votes counted as of Thursday morning.

Balen’s rival CPN-UML’s Keshav Sthapit has got 10,998 votes.

In Kathmandu, Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh has got 10,173 votes.

The counting of votes in wards 4, 6, 7, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32 of Kathmandu Metropolis has been completed.
