UML endorses election manifesto



KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML has endorsed the draft of the manifesto prepared for the local level elections.

The meeting held in the party chair’s residence on Monday, Balkot endorsed the manifesto, said Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung.

A committee had been formed under the leadership of Senior Deputy Chairperson Ishwor Pokhrel.

The UML is scheduled to make public the commitment paper on April 22. The meeting also directed the party rank and file to devote themselves to the elections.
