NC Gen Secy Sharma asks UML Chair Oli to maintain his glory

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has asked former Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli to his glory.

Commenting on a statement made by UML Chairman Oli at a program on Saturday that the Nepali Congress (NC) would be reduced to 13 seats, Sharma said, “Former Prime Minister, you belong not only to the party but also to the country. Don’t fall from the dignity of your height!”

Speaking at a function in Kirtipur Saturday, Sharma said that Oli’s statement was full of arrogance. “Oli’s government is gone due to arrogance but arrogance is not gone yet.”

Reminding that the NC had lost because the two big communist parties had united, Sharma asked Oli, “Where is the majority you won today?”

He said Prime Minister and NC President Deuba did not have time to respond to Oli’s statement to reduce the NC to 13 seats. “President Deuba has neither the time nor the interest to respond to your light remarks,” Sharma said.
