Oxygen Plant installed at Provincial Hospital Malangwa

NALANGWA: An oxygen plant installed at the provincial hospital in Malangwa, Sarlahi has come into operation. The plant was set up at Malangwa Hospital with the help of the Madhesh Pradesh government.

The need for the oxygen plant was severely felt during the first and second wave of the Corona virus infection.

However, the operation of the oxygen plant has been delayed due to need for construction of necessary physical infrastructure, pipeline connection and management of electricity, said Medical Superintendent at the Hospital, Dr. Nobel Kishore Jha. The oxygen plant provided by the provincial government for Rs. 5 million can produce 20 cylinders of oxygen daily.

Minister for Social Development of Madhesh Pradesh Nawal Kishore Sah inaugurated the plant on Friday.
