ICC T20 WC Global Qualifiers: Nepal taking on Philippines today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Philippines in its second match under the ICC Twenty20 Global Qualifiers today.

The match will be held at Al Amerat Stadium in Muscat, the capital city of Oman, at 12 pm, according to the Nepali time.

Philippines, the new entrant into the global qualifiers, had faced a defeat at the hands of Canada on Friday.

Earlier, Nepal, in its first match held on Friday, had beat host Oman by 39 runs.

If Nepal wins today’s match, it will enter the semi-final.

A total of eight teams are taking part in the ICC Twenty20 Global Qualifiers. They have been divided into two teams. Top two teams will enter the semi-finals.
