UML Chair Oli challenges PM Deuba to attend live debate

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has challenged Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to attend a election-focused ‘live debate’.

Stating that many people have asked him to attend a ‘live debate’ on social media on Tuesday, he said that he is ready for a debate based on the election agenda with Deuba.

Acknowledging that live debate was practiced in Western countries during elections, Oli wrote on Facebook, “I am ready for that, but what about Mr Deuba?”
