Suman Sayami to contest from Kathmandu Constituency-8



KATHMANDU: Suman Sayami said he would contest in the House of Representatives (HoR) election from Kathmandu Constituency-8.

Sayami has officially announced his candidacy for the HoR in the election to be held on November 20.

He said he would contest the November 20 election as an independent candidate.

Sayami, who has been raising issues related to the Newa language, culture and land protection of locals in Kathmandu, had also contested in the local elections for the post of Kathmandu Mayor in June.
