NC-led works not publicized, says Senior leader Poudel



TANAHU: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ramchandra Poudel claimed NC has several epochal development works in Tanahun district but its publicity has not been made to a larger extent.

Addressing a gathering of youth leaders at Byas Municipality-11, in Tanahun on Saturday, senior leader Poudel claimed NC has lagged behind for not being able to make wider publicity of its works.

“Several physical infrastructures have been developed so far. Life standard of Tanahun people has increased. Employment opportunities have been created. But we could not make publicity of the seminal works carried out under NC leadership”, he noted.

There was no access to road in the district except the Prithvi Highway as of 2047 BS, he said, adding it was NC which expanded road access to every nooks and corners of Tanahun.

“We had made a big investment in the sectors including education, health and drinking water”, Poudel added.

He lambasted KP Oli for not being able to govern the country despite people’s mandate for five years.
