KATHMANDU: The monsoon winds are having a general effect in Province 1, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki currently.
Other provinces have the influence of local winds and the east-west low pressure line in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar of India.
Presently, there has been normal to full cloud cover in Province 1, Madhes and Bagmati provinces, and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. There is light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning taking place in a few places in Province 1, Madhes, and Bagmati.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will remain the same tonight.
