ACC Women’s T20 Championship: Nepal facing Kuwait today



KATHMANDU: In the second match of the ACC Women’s T20 Championship, Nepal is facing Kuwait today.

Nepal will compete with Kuwait on the shores of Malaysia.

Earlier, Nepal had defeated Bhutan by 50 runs in the first match played on Friday.

Kuwait, which lost the first match due to rain, is looking for its first victory. The first match between Kuwait and Bahrain ended in a draw due to rain.

Nepal had won the previous two meetings with Kuwait.

Nepal is in Group B of the championship. Nepal’s group includes Hong Kong, Kuwait, Bhutan and Bahrain.

Nepal is at the top of the group with 2 points from the first game. Kuwait is in the third place with 1 point.

Nepal will play Bahrain on Monday and Hong Kong on Tuesday in the final.

After the group stage match, the top two teams from both the groups will play in the semifinals. The two teams that reach the final of the championship will be selected in the Women’s T-20 Asia Cup Cricket.
