Dungana elected PABSON chairman unopposed

KATHMANDU: DK Dhungana has been elected unanimously as the chairman of Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization, Nepal (PABSON).

Dhungana was elected as the chairman unanimously after none of the candidates claimed for the post in the nomination filed on Thursday.

Similarly, Santosh Mani Neupane was elected as treasure and Sangita Silwal as the vice chairperson.

Dhungana, Neupane and Silwal were vice chairman, treasurer and secretary, respectively, earlier.

Three candidates, who filed nomination Thursday for the 15th National Convention scheduled for March 23-24, were elected unanimously.

Elections are likely to be held for remaining posts.
