Two killed, nine injured in Makwanpur bus accident



HETAUDA: Two persons were killed when a passenger bus met with an accident in Makwanpur on Friday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, nine persons were injured in the accident.

The deceased have been identified as Subash Shrestha, 22, of Tarkeshwar Municipality-4, Nuwakot and Shambhu Darai Magar, 29, of the same place.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Jayeshwar Rimal, the bus — Ba 4 Kha 4454 — heading to Chitwan from Hetauda met with an accident at Manahari Municipality-6 at around 9 in the morning.

The injured have been taken to a Chitwan-based hospital for treatment and further details are yet to come.
