Govt forms probe committee to investigate Guna Airlines’ technical issue of Jan. 16



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed a committee to probe into the technical issue relating to Guna Airlines’ open window during flight to Pokhara.

Earlier, a Guna Airlines plane heading to Pokhara from Kathmandu Sunday morning was returned to Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu after the captain felt an window of the plane was still open.

The government formed a probe committee under the coordination of senior aviation safety inspector Captain Dadhiram Neupane of Nepal Civil Aviation Authority.

“The committee will start its work from Wednesday,” Captain Neupane, the coordinator of the committee informed.
