One killed, five injured in jeep accident in Katari



UDAYAPUR: One passenger was killed in a jeep accident in Udayapur on Monday evening.

Five others were injured when a Bolero jeep (Ba 10 Pa 4188) heading towards Maruwa from Katari Bazaar on Siddhicharan Highway in Katari of Udayapur district met with an accident in Bijule.

According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, Bikram Magar, 38, of Katari-8 died while undergoing treatment at Katari Hospital.

Jeep driver Prem Bahadur Shrestha, 38, is absconding.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Katari Hospital, Udayapur.
